Women Leadership Programme

Empowering Women in Leadership

The Women’s Leadership Programme is a pioneering initiative by LUMS, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and supported by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. This transformative programme is designed to empower women in the textile industry by fostering their leadership capabilities and paving the way for their career growth.

The Mission

The programme is dedicated to fostering inclusive growth by equipping women with the skills and confidence to lead, innovate, and drive meaningful change within their industries and communities.

Targeted Impact: Reaching 300 women across 5 key textile clusters—Lahore, Sialkot, Faisalabad, Karachi, and Multan.

Comprehensive Training: Tailored workshops and mentorship designed to enhance leadership skills and career trajectories.

Long-term Vision: A structured, three-phase programme spanning approximately 20 months from September 2024 to May 2026.
