MANAGER ADMINISTRATION

This role supports the executive director of the center in all administrative tasks or as assigned by the executive director. The Manager (Admin) ensures smooth operations of the center including facility management, logistics, operations, and accounts.

Responsibilities:
• Implementing and managing the budget of the Center Overseeing the general maintenance of all facilities of the Center through effective supervision of the operations team and working with the rest of the university offices
• Design work plans and revisions as appropriate to meet the changing requirements
• Coordinate with internal offices as well as external contractors and vendors to help complete Center activities
• Suggest and develop new proposals for improving the overall operations of the Center including infrastructure upgrades and process automation
• Supervise general administrative and support services
• Monitor, measure, report, and address HR issues and personnel forecasts
• Advocate, promote, and implement a healthy, safe and creative work environment
• Ensure that operational and capital expenditures are in line with the approved budgets and provide monthly management and expenditure reports
• Ensure compliance with all legal requirements regarding finances, procurement, and employment
• Complete additional tasks as assigned by the executive director of the Center

MANAGER CONTENT & KNOWLEDGE

LUMS wants to hire a manager of content and knowledge for its incubation center. He/ She will lead the role to create a knowledge and information repository for use by startups being incubated and for NIC.

Responsibilities:
• Create and manage a repository of information most useful for startups aligned to target industry verticals.
• Create and manage online information banks, which bring best of research papers and knowledge to an intranet environment.
• Improve access to research data from relevant sources, which empower start-ups to develop strong business models.
• Assist startups being incubated with accessing knowledge and information relevant to their business models.
• Develop partnerships with development sector organization for access to field data
• Develop partnerships with knowledge development organizations for access to structured information relevant to startups being incubated.
• Aggregate and share relevant data on demographics, markets, industry verticals with startups being incubated.

Profile of Ideal Candidate:
• Masters or Bachelors with Honors in sociology, Development studies, international relations.
• 5-7 years of experience on the Development and knowledge management sector.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

MANAGER MARKETING AND COMMUNICATION

LUMS wants to hire a senior level resource with experience of marketing brands and developing strategies for effective brand communication.

Responsibilities:
• Managing the incubation center brand and develop equity for it amongst its target publics.
• Develop brand communication to establish the brand’s positioning and create effective value for the incubation center amongst target audience.
• Articulate and manage marketing and sales activities including outreach for the brand.
• Manage the marketing budget for the incubation center and ensure high ROI.
