Dr. S. Sohail H. Naqvi joined LUMS as Vice Chancellor on July 1 2013. He was an independent consultant in Higher Education for a brief period, having served as the Executive Director of the Higher Education Commission for 8 years. At the HEC he helped develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for the revival of the university education sector of Pakistan.
