The Foundation business incubator and accelerator at National Incubation Center Lahore (NIC) hosts three batches of startups a year. For each batch, NIC scouts visit various nationwide events that bring entrepreneurs and innovators together on competitive platforms. When our scouts identify a promising high-growth or high-impact startup led by a passionate team, the founders are invited to meet with NIC’s Foundation Council at its next meeting

The Foundation Council consists of seasoned and successful entrepreneurs and businessmen. The council members spend quality time with the startup founders and evaluate them on the following criteria:
- Team strength and completeness
- Value proposition of product or service
- Market size or social impact potential
- Business model
- Traction (if any)
- Passion for entrepreneurship
After careful consideration of every startup presented to them, the council members collectively decide on which ventures to incubate at The Foundation
