Founder: Code School

Sadaf Rehman specializes in strategic partnerships for education and skills training nonprofits. She has nearly two decades of experience driven social change for Pakistani youth, working with leading organizations such as LUMS, Generation You Employed, Acumen, and The Citizens Foundation. With a computer science background and experience in education-to-employment programs, noticed that graduating coders were often “unemployable” because they lacked real-world problem-solving skills, having only been trained via rote learning.

From experience to vision

A realization during the pandemic, observing a poor-quality online class highlighted that the issue wasn’t a lack of money or resources, but a “newness issue.” Sadaf began teaching their child and his friends, which grew organically from a small group into a structure company helping students move beyond rote learning to become active participants in the global digital economy. The startup addresses the gap in early-age tech literacy by providing a “like Uber for coding” platform that connects instructors to classrooms and offers a scalable curriculum.
